New Scrapper in Town - Introducing Marina Khong

I have just received this email from Marina.  She has just started scrapping and would love to know more scrappers.  Here is a short introduction that she has wrote:

"I'm a new Malaysian scrapper! :) Yeap, I just started this year and would love to be know more scrappers and be more active in the local scrapping scene.

A description about me and my work is in my blog. http://myscrapspiration.blogspot.com/ I'm currently a self-taught scrapper, so far I learnt everything from web tutorials and from other amazing scrappers who willingly and generously share their work and techniques online."

Welcome to the Malaysian Scrapping Family and we hope to see more of you soon.

New Scrapper in Town - Toh Ee

I am delighted to have found another scrapper friend in KL,  Toh Ee. Even though she claims to be new at scrapbooking,  her work is definitely non-beginner.  I love how she dabbles in all kinds of mixed media and Toh Ee was kind enough to share a layout with us at the Scrap-it-Lah blog.  The layout she has chosen to share with us for this month's challenge is total shabby chic with elegance all rolled into one.  For more information on Toh Ee,  do visit her blog here.

Adding Paint to your base - Corrugated Cardboard

I have just had fun adding paint to the base of my layout. I just my fingers to add on some white paint onto my corrugated board base. I do love the effect and it seems to have brightened my whole layout.
